IS THERE ONLY SEXUAL CONTENT ON ONLY FANS?
Only Fans is a platform that was born in 2016 by the British entrepreneur, Tim Stokely, to provide an exclusive content service.
It has a simple operation: the creators generate free or paid content. The most common is to access it through a monthly subscription of between $5 to $50, of which 20% goes to the platform itself, but the client can also buy isolated content and support the creators with donations and tips.
During the pandemic (2020), its use spread and new users grew with an average of 1 million per day. Currently, the data shows the existence of 150 million accounts, of which 1.54% are content creators compared to 98.46% fans.
The content that these fans can enjoy is varied, although more than 50% of the service is of an erotic or sexual nature, since the absence of restrictions has made it an ideal place for this type of creator.
In 2021, it almost made the decision to ban sexual content of an explicit sexual nature, but it backed down in the face of the refusal of sex workers, declaring itself a space for inclusion and a home for all creators. To this day, users can continue to enjoy all kinds of content and find the account of public figures such as Daniela Blume, Tyga or Cardi B.
